Scheme of Assessment

The scheme of assessment aims at testing of understanding using various effective tools and does not encourage rot learning.

For Pre-primary We, assess in a variety of ways throughout the year.

  • Through meeting with students’ one on one, or in group.
  • Making informal observations during the day.
  • Through projects or home assignments.
  • Through Assessment worksheets.

 

 

The assessment tools consists of internal assessment through periodic tests, home work submission, subject enrichment activities like projects, map work, lab work, speaking and learning activities as well as pen and paper examination.

For class I & II we follow Continuous and comprehensive assessment system.

For class III to class XII, the assessment consists of periodic tests, internal assessments, and pen and paper examinations.

It is mandatory for students to appear for all tests and examinations. In case of any exigency prior permission is to be taken from the Head of the School; leave will be granted only for grave reasons and not mere family functions or trips.

Internal Assessment
Notebook Submission 5 marks
Subject Enrichment Activity 5 marks
Total 50 marks
Subject Enrichment Activity: Project/ Lab activity/ Maps/ Diagrams/Drawings/Speaking, writing activities etc. for each subject. (One activity for each subject will be conducted per quarter)
20% marks of each examination and internal assessment and 80% marks of final examination will be added up to make the final result.
