Celebrating the Bond of Love and Gratitude: Raksha Utsav

On July 17th, 2024, students from grades 1 to 5 at Laxmi International School celebrated Raksha Utsav with creativity and purpose. The festival, symbolizing love and protection, embraced an eco-friendly approach this year. Grade 1 students enjoyed a “Sweet Bond” celebration, while Grades 3 and 4 crafted “Eco-Creative Rakhis” using sustainable materials. Grade 5 students showcased their skills through thali decoration. By blending tradition with a pledge to protect Mother Nature, students not only strengthened their bonds but also emphasized the importance of environmental stewardship.Raksha Bandhan, a festival that embodies the spirit of sibling love and protection, was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Laxmi International School, Sarigam.

Students from Grades 6 to 8 added a unique twist to the traditional celebration, displaying their creativity and thoughtfulness.The girls of our school took the lead in crafting beautiful rakhis, pouring their hearts into every thread and knot. Meanwhile, the boys expressed their gratitude by creating heartfelt thank-you cards for their sisters. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, love, and a sense of camaraderie.

The Raksha Bandhan celebration at Laxmi International School, Sarigam, was a testament to the power of love, gratitude, and sibling bonding. We are grateful for the opportunity to nurture these values in our students and look forward to many more joyous celebrations together!
