Green Week was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm in the Pre Primary Wing of Laxmi International School from 21st to 23rd august 2023.The Pre Nursery, Nursery, Prep students, and teachers came to school dressed in pretty green attires and looked eco-friendly. The corridor was beautifully decorated in green theme and all the green objects from a child’s immediate surroundings were brought to the classrooms.
Pre Nursery and Nursery students were taught the identification and recognition of green fruits, vegetables, leaves, and trees. Many activities and games pertaining to green color were organized for the kids. Kids were taken for a ‘Nature Walk’ where they had collected green things from nature. As a craft take away paper plate turtle was made by the kids using green color dabbing. The kids merrily danced on peppy music holding those turtles. The shades of green filled the air with freshness, thrill, ecstasy and bliss. It also prompted them to think how green color energizes and revitalizes our lives.
