Celebrating festivals is an integral part of learning at Laxmi international School. Being a diverse country, through such celebrations, students not only learn the significance behind the festival, but they also learn to embrace other traditions and culture just like they do with their own.

Dussehra is a major Indian festival celebrated for 10 days; it also marks the end of Navratri. Dussehra signifies the victory of Lord Rama over the demon Ravan. Children came dressed in ethnic clothes. They enjoyed listening to the story of Dussehra in presence of cute Lord Rama, Sita Maiya and Lakshman Ji. Hanuman ji added flavor on it.

the arrow thrown from Rama’s bow burnt it thus symbolizes the triumph of good
over evil.
Teachers also shared some valuable information about the
festival thus enhancing their learning.
