Like a doting grandchild, I love you and wish you a ‘Happy Grandparents Day’!
The students of Laxmi International School, Sarigam celebrated Grandparents Day with abundance of respect and admiration. The day stated with a prayer song. The Pre Primary event began with a special welcome song by KG Choir followed by lighting of the lamp and a series of fun games. A skit was displayed showing the importance of grandparents in our life.
The children were very excited to see their grand dad or grand mom participate in the games and cheered them wholeheartedly. The grandparents were very sportive and brought out the child in them through their active participation. The fond affection for their grandchildren reflected in the very fact that they held the hands of their respective grandchild while performing some of the games. The children seemed like a motivation factor for everyone to give their best. LIS teachers were very happy to see the happiness ushering in the faces of all the grandparents who made the most of this wonderful day with happiness. All the games were thoughtfully planned by the teachers so as to make the special day, memorable for all the grandparents.
The Principal thanked every grandparent for their presence and for their continuous support and guidance to children. Handmade cards and badges were presented to honor all grandparents, as a token of love from LIS family.
