Our students from Grades 1 to 8 embraced the rich tradition of handloom with hands-on activities. Grades 1 to 3 explored the traditional art of block printing, using wooden blocks, vegetable cut-outs, and fabric paint to create unique patterns on fabric. This activity helped them understand the basics of textile design. Grades 4 and 5 crafted beautiful handmade items like coasters, purses, bookmarks, and bracelets using simple weaving techniques.
Grades 6 to 8 delved into basic weaving and the vibrant world of tie and dye. These activities not only honored our cultural heritage but also provided practical skills and creative expression.
