Earth Day

For the past 40 years, Earth Day has been celebrated around the world to call attention to some of our most pressing environmental and social problems, including climate change, biodiversity loss, and dwindling natural resources.

The day started with a beautiful message where students were reminded of 5 actions towards safe earth. The whole school, whether it was the students, support staff, teachers, guards, admin staff or helpers took part in this endeavour and initiative. Each one of them took a pledge to save Mother Earth by doing simple doable actions. Our continuing effort in our daily life will make this beautiful planet thrive. To understand – the magnitude of the problem, students celebrated

The celebrations for the Pre-Primary learners began with a mesmerizing nature walk for Grade Nursery Junior and Senior KG that taught them the value of each being, and inspired them to re-cycle and preserving earth further enhanced the understanding of this special day.

The students took the responsibility of managing the indoor plants, setting up a schedule with the help of their teachers to water the plants. They planted seeds of Aloe Vera, Coriander, Methi and Tulsi.

The Earth Hour was announced and took on the initiative to unleash a week-long crusade to encourage the entire department to switch off electric lights and fans in favor of and using natural light for an hour. The purpose of this is to contribute to a larger goal of conserving our precious resources.
