Laxmi International School, pre primary hosted one of the largest races for school children. “Kidathon” marathon for kids and parents.The purpose behind the event was to encourage the spirit and determination of young children and run to spread happiness.Started the day with warm up and welcoming the Chief Guest Mr Naresh Naik. At the age of 66 he actively takes part in Marathon, Cyclothon and Trilathon. He was awarded as the Best Nagarik, Valsad for his achievements.
Before the commencement the rules and regulations were explained to the participants. And then with the count of three the race was flagged off by Mr.Naresh Niak. The runners were escorted to the start point. The entire route was well managed by the teachers and volunteers..The event was graced by the dignitaries of LVS campus. Group- 1 Play Group and Nursery students and parents run for 500 meters. Group- 2 Junior and Senior KG ran for 1 Km.
The winners were awarded with trophies. All the participants received E certificates. The Marathon ended with a note of thanks and respect.
