Heritage Celebrations: From Costumes to Cuisine, Monuments to Virtual Voyages, LIS students embraced
On World Heritage Day, Laxmi International School ignited with vibrant celebrations honoring our cultural legacy. From the youngest learners in grades 1 and 2 donning costumes representing diverse cultures to grades 3 to 5 sharing mouthwatering dishes in heritage potlucks, each activity fostered appreciation for our collective heritage. Meanwhile, grades 6 to 8 showcased their creativity in crafting intricate 3D models of famous monuments, while grades 9 and 11 embarked on immersive virtual tours of UNESCO sites, deepening their understanding of global citizenship and the importance of heritage preservation. As the day concluded, the echoes of laughter and the aroma of spices served as reminders of the power of heritage to unite and inspire, leaving a lasting impact on students and educators alike.
